A collection of home furnishings
made with Michigan urban wood
salvaged from trees that grew on
streets, in yards, in parks and in
urban areas. In the past, this wood
was often treated as scrap.
However, the spread of the
emerald ash borer and the related
loss of tens of millions of ash trees
throughout the Midwest, has brought
a newfound interest in reclaiming
urban wood for home furnishings.
